Women on the farm are the core of CommonGround Texas. From behind the seat of the tractor to running parts to juggling raising a family and fields – CommonGround Texas is only able to make an impact because of the farm women volunteering their time to share their firsthand experience with food and how it’s produced.

CommonGround has given me an opportunity to engage in a wonderful community of fellow female farmers, while defining and refining my passion for agriculture to share with others.

Julia Andrus Williams

CommonGround is such an impactful yet unique program that helps bridge the gap between farmers and consumers. It’s a very easy way to have a direct line to the people who grow food from the people who have questions about the process. All while being inclusive of specific growing methods and food choices for each family.

Kyla Hamilton

In a world full of diversity common ground is something we should all find peace in. All lives are impacted by agriculture in some way; we should celebrate this special space and do our part to spread the benefits of agriculture. Bringing people together is my favorite part of being a CommonGround volunteer!

Jaimie Davis

I love that this organization is women supporting each other in the various roles we play within the farm community and agriculture industry. We work to stay educated and we work to educate others on the importance of this industry and clear up misconceptions.

There is a sense of pride to be able to use the tools God gave us in the land and water to prosper as well as feed and clothe the world!
